Oven baked with love from her grandfather's recipe, this simple, delicious & traditional bread is a vehicle for more than just butter and jam. Jillian started baking bannock during the summer of Covid, as a way to raise funds for local non-profits and is still to this day donating 75% of her profits to the Urban Native Youth Association, here in East Van. Every dollar you spend on her bannock here at Seb's goes directly back to Jillian and she redistributes those funds to charity on her end.
Jillian bakes her bannock fresh every other Wednesday and the cut-off for orders is the previous Monday. If you order bannock as well as other items (I highly recommend Livia Jams & Jellies, Luv the Grub Chutneys and Hives For Humanity Honey slathered all over this bannock!), your order will be delivered on the bannock delivery day.
